Mission of BAUET

  • To provide comprehensive education and conduct research in diverse disciplines of science, engineering, technology and engineering management
  • To produce technologically advanced intellectual leaders and professionals with high moral and ethical values to meet the socio- economic development of Bangladesh and global needs
  • To conduct collaborative and research activities with national and international communities for continuous interaction with academia and industry
  • To provide consultancy, advisory and testing services to government, nongovernment, autonomous and individuals for widening practical knowledge and to contribute in sustainable development

Mission of ICE Department

Department of Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) at BAUET is working with the following missions in mind.

  • “Mission-1 (M1): Educate students for academia, IT industry, entrepreneurship, and national or international organization through theory and practical knowledge to solve engineering problems individually and in teams.
  • Mission-2 (M2): Create new knowledge through innovative research and collaboration with multiple disciplines and societies.
  • Mission-3 (M3): Develop leadership and soft skill by life- long learning and carry out responsibilities through social and professional ethics.”

Program Educational Objective (PEO)

  • PEO-1: To develop professionalism for IT industry, academia or entrepreneurship in national or international level.
