The 2nd Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC) Meeting of the Faculty of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology was successfully held on 29 April 2026 at the VC Conference Room. The meeting was chaired by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of BAUET.

During the session, a comprehensive set of agenda items was discussed focusing on academic quality assurance, continuous improvement, and accreditation readiness. Key discussions included the approval of the previous FQAC meeting decisions, endorsement of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) loop for CLO, PLO, and PEO attainment cycles, and revisions of course-related formats including dominating courses, course outlines, and IDP proposals.

The meeting also reviewed academic performance data, including semester results and CLO/PLO attainment levels, along with feedback from employer, alumni, and exit surveys. Significant emphasis was placed on evaluating PEO attainment progress and aligning program outcomes with accreditation requirements. Furthermore, the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for the Civil Engineering Department, prepared for BAETE accreditation, was reviewed and approved.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the faculty’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and ensuring continuous quality enhancement in line with national accreditation frameworks.
