The Department of Civil Engineering (CE), BAUET, in association with the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a SAR Review Session and workshop on “Implementation and Assessment of K-Profile, CEP and CEA for BAETE Accreditation.”

Professor Brig Gen Shah Md Muniruzzaman (Retd), psc, PhD and Professor GM Jahid Hasan, PhD attended the event as resource persons. The main attraction of the program was the comprehensive review of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) of the Department of CE, BAUET. During the review session, the distinguished experts provided constructive feedback, valuable recommendations, and strategic guidance to strengthen the department’s accreditation preparation and quality assurance activities.

The resource persons also conducted an insightful workshop focusing on the implementation and assessment procedures of K-Profile, CEP, and CEA in alignment with BAETE accreditation standards and outcome-based education practices.

The honorable Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brig Gen S M Lutfor Rahman, along with the Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members attended the session.

The program was highly interactive and productive, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of accreditation frameworks, assessment methodologies, and continuous quality improvement practices relevant to engineering education.
