The Department of Civil Engineering, BAUET convened an alumni meeting today (13.09.2025) at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET), Qadirabad Cantonment. The program began with a departmental briefing, providing the alumni with an overview of the current status, ongoing initiatives, and future plans aimed at upgrading the department for the benefit of both current and future students.

Subsequently, an interactive session was held between the alumni and current students, focusing on the department’s present situation, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. This was followed by an interaction session with the Honorable Vice Chancellor Brig Gen S M Lutfor Rahman, in the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room, whose esteemed presence added great significance to the event.

The event concluded with a productive discussion session between the alumni and faculty members, including the Head of the Department. Alumni posed questions concerning departmental growth and student development, which were addressed thoughtfully by the faculty. The visit highlighted the collaborative effort of alumni, students, and faculty in advancing the department’s academic and infrastructural development, reinforcing their shared commitment to excellence in education and student development.
