On August 8, 2021, a virtual cultural program was organized by the Department of Civil
Engineering of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET). The event
was attended by Hon’ble Vice Chancelllor of the University Brig Gen M Mustafa Kamal, Honorary
Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Rashedul Hasan, All Teachers,
and Students of Civil Engineering Department.
There are quite interesting events like book review, poster presentation, Digital art and
photography contest and esports competition. In esport event, the CE 11 th batch secured the
position of the champion. Touhidur Rafi and Tahamed Anim played on behalf of the batch.
The event was conducted by Senior Lecturer Suraiya Hasi along with Amit Vaduri, Sustima and
Sanzida Mim, students from the 9 th and 11 th batch, respectively, served as the program host. The
event aimed to protect the mental health of students and eliminate the monotonousness through
entertainment in the midst of this corona epidemic.
