The 13th and 14th batch of the department of Civil Engineering went on an Industrial Visit on 18 February,2025

to see the construction of Hatikamrul Interchange located at Sirajganj district. The project is handled by Roads and Highways department of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Co. Ltd. (CRBG) under SASEC Road Connectivity Project-02, Work package 13. The project is funded by Asian Development Bank-ADB. The authority of the project gave a warm welcome to the Head of the Department Dr. Engr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman and Lecturer Md. Rokonuzzaman and the students. The authority briefed the students about the project and later on, the students visited the project area and observed the project in detailed manner. A small token of honor was handed over to the Project Director by the HOD. The Department of Civil Engineering, BAUET and Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology authority appreciates the efforts of the project authority that they have given and hopes to strengthen the relationship between BAUET and RHD so that the students of the department of Civil Engineering can go to more visits like this which will surely help them to enrich their practical knowledge and benefit them in future.
