Director’s Message
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) was created in 2016 to provide quality education at the university level. IQAC was formed as a three-year project with funding from the World Bank’s Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Every public and private university in Bangladesh has formed an IQAC to create a mechanism for systematic reviews of study programs and to ensure that quality outcome based education in teaching-learning, research, knowledge development, and support services requirements are met. BAUET is dedicated to excellence and innovation in learning, teaching, and research, and it is constantly working to improve its learning, teaching, and research.
The IQAC ensures that the institution’s quality management system is accountable and transparent to all stakeholders, including students, teachers, administrative staff, quality circle members, funding agencies, and society in general. The IQAC is in charge of ensuring that the university’s quality assurance policies and procedures are rigorous and effective in maintaining and monitoring the standards.
I am glad to announce that IQAC has been a permanent educational wing of BAUET since March 2018. It operates as a self-contained center dedicated to the university’s advancement. In this new chapter of IQAC’s history, I look forward to your valued support and cooperation. With your help and participation, IQAC at BAUET can become a leader in Bangladesh’s Higher Education at University level.
