\nLibrary<\/strong>
\nBangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) has library facilities that are well structured and accumulated with reference books, journals, and research papers. BAUET Central Library is established 1st<\/sup> March 2015 with a prime objective to support different programs and research needs. It is located in an accessible place within the campus. The library is equipped with high-speed broadband internet facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, daily newspapers, magazines, and e-books\/journals. The library is entirely well decorated and fully furnished.
\nSpace and Hours of Operation
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The central library is about 1500 square feet and around 40 students can study in the library at a time.<\/p>\n

    Central Library Facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • E-Library Management<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In future BAUET central will implement integrated Library Management Software named\u00a0KOHA<\/em>\u00a0that manages all books and its stakeholders.<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Reproduction Facilities\n
          \n
        • The library will establish modern reproduction facilities for all the library users. Request for PPC facilities will make on payment. Reproduction on demands for making PPC need to be placed to the Library counter at least 12 hours in advance. Immediate reproduction will not be carried out.<\/li>\n
        • Scanning & Printing facilities will also establish in the Reproduction Section of the Library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • E-library and On-Line Printing Facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Cyber Centre of the library provides internet browsing facilities to all members. Students and instructors may utilize on-line printing facilities on payment. Printing charge shall be determined by the Vice chancellor of BAUET.<\/p>\n

            Modernization of the Library
            \n<\/strong>Now BAUET Central Library has updated manual Library Management System and in future BAUET will implement a complete library automation system using integrated Library Management System (Koha, Dspace, VuFind and Drupal). Checking out, checking in, renewing and holding the reading materials to users these all activities are done by using Library Management System (LMS) in manual process. Members are notified through e-mail and SMS for any necessities.
